MOT – Harrow

An MOT is a legal requirement for any vehicle over three years old, and at Harrow MOT & Service Centre we carry out MOT tests for cars and vans up to 3.5 tonnes. With two dedicated MOT bays, we can usually offer prompt bookings and quick turnaround, and because we’re also a full-service garage, any advisories or failures can be addressed the same day where parts are available.

What an MOT Covers

An MOT tests your vehicle against the minimum legal safety and environmental standards set by the DVSA. It covers brakes, lights, steering, tyres, bodywork, emissions, and a range of other components and systems. It doesn’t assess the general mechanical condition of the vehicle – an MOT pass doesn’t mean everything is fine, just that nothing has fallen below the legal threshold. Our team will explain any advisories clearly so you understand what they mean for your car going forward.
